1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Solar Near Us (“Solar Near Us,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of solarnearus.com and any related services (the “Service”). By using the Service or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. What our service does
Solar Near Us provides educational information about home solar and a free request service that may connect homeowners with independent solar providers. We are not a solar installer, contractor, lender, utility, equipment manufacturer, broker, tax advisor, or government agency, and we do not install, sell, or finance solar systems.
We do not guarantee that any provider will contact you, that a provider serves your area, that you will qualify for any product, financing, or incentive, or that solar is suitable for your property.
3. Independent providers and compensation
Providers you may be matched with are independent businesses. They alone are responsible for their licensing, insurance, statements, proposals, pricing, financing, equipment, installation, permits, warranties, and service. We do not endorse or guarantee any provider, and any agreement you make is solely between you and that provider. 4. Information you submit
You agree that the information you submit is accurate, current, and your own, and that the phone number you provide belongs to you or you are its authorized user. Do not submit information about another person without their permission.

5. No professional advice
Content on the Service is general information only. It is not financial, tax, legal, engineering, or investment advice. Estimates, averages, and examples are illustrative, and incentives, utility rules, and laws change frequently. Consult qualified professionals and official sources before making decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person.
- Submit requests on behalf of others without their authorization, or for resale.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access, copy, or submit to the Service.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Reverse engineer the Service or remove proprietary notices.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
We may block submissions, suspend access, or take legal action for violations.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its text, graphics, logos, design, and software, is owned by Solar Near Us or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view the Service for your own non-commercial use. The Solar Near Us name and logo may not be used without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLAR NEAR US DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT OR ESTIMATE IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLAR NEAR US AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, SAVINGS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM ANY PROVIDER’S PRODUCTS, SERVICES, ACTS, OR OMISSIONS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solar Near Us from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or information you submit that is false or that you were not authorized to submit.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Solar Near Us is organized and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at legal@solarnearus.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
13. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply from the date they are posted, and continued use of the Service means you accept them.
14. General terms
These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and Solar Near Us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer.
